Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: Up to £52k including basic

Hours: (42) Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:30pm, Friday 8am-4:30pm. Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm on a rota, paid at OT

West London Jaguar is recruiting a Vehicle Technician to join their friendly team in a fast-paced yet rewarding workshop environment. You will play a vital role in the team, carrying out vehicle repairs using the latest technology.

This is a brilliant opportunity to learn from the aftersales manager, who you will report to, and develop your skill set with the support of the team. We can offer excellent career progression and training opportunities, including manufacturer accredited schemes and EV training.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
  • Conducting vehicle service in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and customer requests
  • Carrying out any additional repairs once authorised by the customer
  • Warranty repairs as per the manufacturer’s guidelines
  • Taking the customers vehicle out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified
  • Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard
Minimum Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following: NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, motor industry experience (brand or non-brand), and a full and valid UK driving licence. You should be self-motivated, able to support your team, ambitious, eager to learn, and able to maintain the highest standards.

Although previous JLR experience is desirable, it is not essential, as brand accredited training will be provided. The same applies for any Diagnostic, MOT and EV experience.
