Development Scrum Master

Reporting into the IT Development Manager, the Scrum Master will be responsible for assisting the assigned scrum team for each project. They will work closely with the IT Development Manager and others to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.

What You'll Do:

1. Facilitate daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
2. Organise and host planning sessions to produce technical specifications, sizing, and task breakdown.
3. Remove impediments and blockers for the development team.
4. Coordinate with product owners and business analysts to manage product backlogs and sprint backlogs efficiently.
5. Foster a collaborative environment and encourage open communication within the team.
6. Track and report key metrics, such as velocity and burndown charts, to stakeholders.
7. Mentor team members on agile best practices and continuous improvement.

Who We're Looking For:

1. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), equivalent certification, or equivalent experience in industry.
2. Strong understanding of software development processes and procedures.
3. Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills.
4. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
5. Experience with agile project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Trello, or similar.
