Development Engineer (Automotive/Aftertreatment)

Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

Rate: £40 - £42.50 per hour (Umbrella) Inside IR35

Contract: 12 month initial contract with long term extension opportunities

Excellent opportunity for a Development Engineer with experience working with aftertreatment systems who is looking for a senior and varied role working with a market leading business.

They have been established for 100 years and are continuing their expansion to this day. Due to their continued growth, they are now looking to add to their specialist team.

In this role, you will be helping to lead an established team where you will be taking aftertreatment products through the development cycle. You will be verifying designs, creating development plans, and be involved in validation at the production stage. This role will be working Monday to Friday on a 37-hour week with hybrid working opportunities, but with three days a week required on-site.

The Role:

• Working on specialist aftertreatment products through the development cycle
• Leading a team of Engineers and spearheading new projects
• Long term 12 month contract with long term extension opportunities

The Person:

• Development Engineer with aftertreatment product experience
• Previous experience working with design and development cycles
• Looking for a varied and challenging role in a long term 12 month contract
