Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert engineering support across all development stages.
  2. Design and evaluate civil engineering plans or oversee external consultants to ensure compliance, cost-efficiency, and practicality.
  3. Manage consultants to deliver high-quality designs for tendering and production.
  4. Collaborate with local authorities, statutory bodies, and stakeholders to resolve engineering challenges.
  5. Ensure designs comply with CDM/EMS regulations and proactively mitigate risks.
  6. Facilitate community consultations to support planning applications.
  7. Assess and evaluate potential new development sites.

Qualifications: An engineering-related degree or qualification (preferably accredited by RICS or ICE).

Required Skills:

  1. Extensive experience in housebuilding engineering, including roads, sewers, utilities, foundations, and land drainage.
  2. Proficiency in AutoCAD, PDS, Windes, and Microdrainage.
  3. Strong knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements, geotechnical reports, and remediation techniques.
  4. Proven ability to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions under tight deadlines.
