Development Engineer
£40-45K + benefits
Liverpool (VISA support offered)

Summary
Reporting to the Head of Development, you will be working on a variety of hydrogen-based research and development projects. A clear interest in applying the latest technology within a project-focused, results-oriented environment is essential. This role is office-based in Liverpool with the opportunity to travel to client sites occasionally in line with project requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities
Delivery of a range of R&D projects.
Design and installation of R&D prototypes.
Component and system design.
Preparation and maintenance of R&D BOMs.
Set up and configuration of CAN based onboard display units and tracking systems.
Wiring loom specification and design.
Validation testing of components and systems as required.
Working as part of a team on collaborative projects.
Writing and creation of project plans across R&D.

Experience Required
Engineering Degree or equivalent.
Ability to read, understand and amend automotive wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
Ability to produce accurate written reports.
A willingness to travel to off-site locations for work will be necessary.
Some knowledge of CAN bus systems.
Working knowledge of 3D CAD.
