An established industry player is seeking a dedicated individual to join their Economic Development team. This role involves a hybrid working style, combining home and office-based work in Dundee. You will play a key role in supporting employability program management, ensuring compliance, and preparing performance reports. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of research and analysis, excellent ICT skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to meaningful economic initiatives until June 2027.

Working in a hybrid style, based at home and within the Dundee House office, you will work full time, 37 hours per week on a temporary basis until June 2027.

You will be educated to SCQF Level 9 or above (e.g. Scottish Bachelor’s degree, Graduate Diploma, Graduate Certificate, Professional Development Award Level 9, SVQ Level 9) or equivalent relevant experience.
You will make a significant contribution to delivery of the overall Economic Development service area, leading on or providing support, in relation to key areas of the Economic Growth team’s work. This specific post will have a particular focus on supporting employability programme management including performance monitoring; undertaking eligibility and compliance checks; preparing performance reports; and the collation, verification and submission of eligible financial claims to funders.
You will have a knowledge/understanding in research and analysis with an ability to interpret and present data accordingly, knowledge of key official national and local data sets and knowledge and understanding of economic development. You will have excellent ICT skills including management information, database and spreadsheets along with the ability to monitor programme/project performance using statistical data/key performance indicators. You will have a willingness to learn new skills and undertake training as necessary. You will have excellent time management, oral/written communication, research and analytical and numeracy skills and be a team player who is also able to work using their own initiative.
