In this role, you will be part of a development team involved in the design, development, testing, documenting, and deployment of D365-based solutions in accordance with agreed standards to support and maintain integrated IT services to the business. You will extend the capabilities of the CRM team by providing the business with functional and technical expertise specifically in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE.
You will work closely with Enterprise Architects and the Lead Engineer to establish and maintain agreed standards, patterns, and designs, ensuring they are consistently adhered to. Responsible for designing and building solutions that comply with agreed techniques and high-quality standards, you will also evaluate, review, and provide expert advice on programming methods, tools, and standards, contributing to the evolution of the Secure Software Development Life Cycle (SSDLC). Throughout the development lifecycle, you will identify and escalate potential technical issues to the Lead Engineer and Scrum Master while reviewing supplied specifications as needed.
Additionally, you will participate in peer reviews of your work, colleagues', and third-party resources to ensure high software standards. Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, code comments, and release notes, will be a key part of your role. You will also assist with escalated support incidents as 3rd-line support, carrying out remedial work or recommending corrective actions. Furthermore, you will plan and undertake software upgrades under the standard change control process, ensuring timely delivery with clear business communication. Finally, you will ensure all software development activities align with company security standards, preventing internal or external data security breaches.
