Proven experience as a Despatch Supervisor or in a similar role.
Counterbalance FLT licence and practical experience required.

Position: Despatch Supervisor - Leading Logistics Operation

Location: Walsall

Pay: £14 - £15 per hour dependent on experience + overtime premium

Hours: 06:00 - 17:30 Monday - Friday

We are seeking an experienced Despatch Supervisor to join a fast-paced and dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader with strong logistics experience to step into a key role within a thriving business.

Brief of job duties

Working in a cold environment.
Lead and motivate a team to meet despatch targets and maintain high performance standards.
Ensure all despatch documentation is accurately completed and filed correctly.
Manage stock and order tracking using PCs and handheld scanners.
Safely operate a Counterbalance FLT to load and unload products.
Oversee product labelling, packing, and order accuracy to meet customer requirements.
Ensure all despatch activities follow company safety protocols.
Handle any issues with orders, team performance, or logistics operations promptly.
Support and train team members to improve overall efficiency and performance.

What are we looking for?

Proven experience as a Despatch Supervisor or in a similar leadership role.
Counterbalance FLT licence and practical experience operating the truck.
Strong working knowledge of PCs, scanners, and despatch systems.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Confident leading and motivating a team in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work in a cold environment and adapt to changing demands.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.

This is a 12-week Temporary to Permanent role therefore, we are looking for candidates who are available either immediately or a maximum of one weeks notice.
