A Little About Our Telford Site

Our advanced manufacturing site in Telford is one of our main processing facilities, processing up to 1.5 million birds per week. There are over 1,200 talented people employed at our Telford site, helping us to deliver high quality products to our customers and making the business a trusted leader in fresh foods.

We’ve recently invested £2.3 million in technology and equipment, making it one of the most advanced food manufacturing facilities in the UK.

About The Role

As an Intake Despatch Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers get the correct orders on time and at the same high quality they have come to expect.

Working Hours

Sunday - Thursday 18:00-03:00 NIGHTS

Key Responsibilities Will Include

1. Scanning of product
2. Intake of meat products
3. Storage
4. Loading and unloading vehicles
5. Stock take and control
6. Scanning, wrapping and palletising products
7. Performing final quality checks on products
8. Using electric pallet trucks, counterbalance and reach vehicles
9. Recording and rotating chilled food products
10. Ensuring paperwork and delivery orders are completed and recorded.

What We Are Looking For

1. In-date FLT forklift licence
2. The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
3. Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
4. Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
