Design and Technology Teacher – Leicestershire

GSL Education is seeking a passionate and skilled Design and Technology Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Leicestershire. This full-time position is available for an immediate start and offers a competitive salary on the MPS/UPS scale.

Position Requirements

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. DBS registered on the update service
3. Right to work in the UK
4. Strong knowledge in Design and Technology, with the ability to teach across various D&T disciplines
5. Commitment to creating engaging, practical, and hands-on lessons

Responsibilities

1. Plan and deliver lessons that align with national curriculum standards, fostering creativity and technical skills
2. Support student growth by developing their design and technical abilities, preparing them for further study or career pathways
3. Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment to help students achieve their best
