Introduction:
We are seeking a talented Design Project Manager to join our team for an exciting, upcoming project in HR Transformation. This role requires a dedicated professional who specialises in overseeing projects that involve complex design elements, ensuring both creative and practical aspects are successfully executed. This is an opportunity to contribute to an innovative project and collaborate closely with designers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with designers and creative teams to ensure that the design vision is fully realised and aligns with project objectives.
• Manage design-specific timelines, deliverables, and client expectations to keep the project on track.
• Lead and facilitate feedback loops, incorporating stakeholder input and guiding design revisions.
• Coordinate with other departments, particularly marketing, to ensure a cohesive and seamless outcome across all aspects of the project.
• Contribute to the creative process by assisting with design strategy when required.
• Oversee budgeting and financial management, including purchase order (PO) management, to ensure that resources are allocated effectively.

Skills and Experience:

• A strong understanding of design principles, concepts, tools, and workflows.
• A keen visual and aesthetic sensibility with an eye for detail.
• The ability to balance creative vision with practical constraints, such as deadlines and budgets.
• Proficiency with design software and familiarity with design processes.
• Proven experience in managing design-focused projects from concept to completion.

Duration:
This is a fixed-term contract, running from mid-April to the end of December, with a competitive day rate of £300 – £350 per day offered for the right candidate. This role is outside of IR35, providing greater flexibility for the successful candidate.
