Job description

We are currently seeking a Design Manager with experience in new build commercial work within the Construction industry. Coming from a proven track record of Design Management, your role will be to oversee the Design process, supported every step of the way by a highly experienced Design/Pre-Construction team with a view to ensuring that the project design matches the project build, with occasional visits to site required in order to achieve this.

Software typically used is Viewpoint, Solibri & Bluebeam. The company behind the vacancy is a relatively new arrival to the Cambridge area, although certainly no stranger to the regional Tier 1 market, as a privately owned, award-winning & forward-thinking Main Contractor. The business is heavily involved in a number of different public sector frameworks and currently winning a significant amount of profitable work within the DfE sector, due to its unique and cost-effective approach to pricing work, which is partly based on keeping internal procedures as simplistic as possible.

Due to an increase in work levels, they are seeking a Design Manager to join their Pre-Construction team to further their workload. The package that comes with this role is exceptional and includes a bonus. This is a strong opportunity for a Design Manager interested in furthering their experience.
