Design Engineer in Penrhyndeudraeth

Recruit4Staff are proud to represent their client, an internationally renowned construction & civil engineering company in their search for a Design Engineer to work on their newly awarded contract in the Penrhyndeudraeth area.

For the successful Design Engineer our client is offering:

• Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 (Negotiable depending on experience & skillset)
• Days role
• Permanent role
• Temporary contractors will be considered in the interim
• Pension with up to 8% contribution from the client
• 25 days holiday + Bank holidays

The Role - Design Engineer

• To manage design consultant activities to ensure they are completed in line with the agreed programme and requirements
• To act as technical lead for the permanent works design on the project in the absence of management
• Ensure both input and output deliverables for the design are tracked and reported
• Manage the technical query processes
• Ensure compliance with design management processes required by the contract
• Manage the BIM requirements for permanent and temporary works

What our client is looking for in a Design Engineer:

• Tier 1 Main Contract Design experience - ESSENTIAL
• Must hold a degree in Design Engineering or similar - ESSENTIAL
• Proven experience on large building projects
• Heavy civil engineering projects and tunneling experience - DESIRABLE
• Must be happy to be based on site full-time
