Are you an experienced engineer who loves turning technical challenges into creative solutions?

Do you thrive on designing precision-engineered systems for global projects?

Keen to lead technical projects and support the development of future engineering talent?

If that sounds like you, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

Why This Role is Great

This is more than just a design role. It’s a chance to make a real impact in a company that values innovation, precision, and problem-solving. Here’s what makes this role stand out:

  1. Take ownership of technical designs across a portfolio of complex mechanical systems
  2. Collaborate globally with cross-functional teams on projects that span borders
  3. Mentor and guide junior engineers and apprentices, helping to shape future talent
  4. Drive innovation through technical leadership and continuous improvement initiatives
  5. Influence change by playing a key role in design approvals and project execution

About You:

This opportunity offers the chance to work in a technically curious and forward-thinking environment where no two projects are the same. You’ll get to:

  1. Work with modern engineering tools including 2D/3D CAD (AutoCAD, Creo or equivalent)
  2. Apply your expertise in the design of complex mechanical components or systems
  3. Use enterprise-level systems like SAP for project and technical data management
  4. Tackle real-world design challenges with performance, safety, and reliability in mind
  5. Be a voice in the room when it comes to strategy, product development, and process improvement

Your Wishlist of Skills & Experience:

We’re looking for a technically sharp and motivated individual who’s excited to contribute their knowledge and grow with the role. You may bring:

  1. A degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering or a closely related field
  2. Strong hands-on experience with mechanical system design – ideally within a regulated or industrial environment
  3. Familiarity with 2D/3D CAD tools and engineering design software
  4. A good grasp of system integration, performance analysis, and technical documentation
  5. An interest or background in fluid systems, rotating machinery, or related equipment (but open to other complex mechanical systems experience)
  6. Experience leading or supporting engineering projects, including technical mentoring
  7. Confidence making technical decisions and presenting your ideas clearly to various stakeholders
  8. Professional registration (e.g. IEng) and project management exposure are desirable but not essential.

What’s in it for You?

  1. Join a technically focused team where your work has real-world impact
  2. Be part of a supportive, knowledge-sharing culture with opportunities for development
  3. Take on project ownership and influence direction from day one
  4. Work on high-performance, precision-engineered systems for international applications
  5. Enjoy occasional travel opportunities with global exposure
