Job Role: Design Engineer

Location: Worcestershire

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (Depending on experience)

Our client, a leading producer of excavator attachments in the UK with an expanding presence in the US and Europe, is seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join their team in Worcestershire.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Focusing on designing products for customer orders.
2. Work with predominantly metal fabrications and solid bearings, with occasional involvement in hydraulics.
3. Collaborate with a team of 4 other engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality designs.

Essential Requirements:

1. Ability to travel to the site and have personal transport.
2. Hands-on manufacturing and welding knowledge would be an advantage.
3. Commute to the workplace must be within 45 minutes.
4. A solid track record of employment in relevant engineering roles.

Desirable Skills:

1. Experience with Creo Parametric is preferred, but candidates with CAD experience in other software will also be considered.
2. Familiarity with PDM systems is beneficial, but not a requirement.
