Job description

Our client, a leading producer of excavator attachments in the UK with an expanding presence in the US and Europe, is seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join their team in Worcestershire.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Focusing on designing products for customer orders.
  2. Work with predominantly metal fabrications and solid bearings, with occasional involvement in hydraulics.
  3. Collaborate with a team of 4 other engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality designs.
  4. Ability to travel to the site and have personal transport.
  5. Hands-on manufacturing and welding knowledge would be an advantage.
  6. Commute to the workplace must be within 45 minutes.
  7. A solid track record of employment in relevant engineering roles.
  8. Experience with Creo Parametric is preferred, but candidates with CAD experience in other software will also be considered.
  9. Familiarity with PDM systems is beneficial, but not a requirement.
