Design Engineer Salary: £35,000 - £42,000 DOE

Orion are currently working with an innovative manufacturing company based in Gloucester who are looking for an experienced Design Engineer.

They are looking for a Design Engineer to join their small, friendly team and work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.

Design Engineer Duties:

• Create engineering drawings to aid the production team in welding and fabricating material handling equipment.
• CAD 2D & 3D drawings of our material handling equipment.
• Creating 2D & 3D models, engineering drawings, parts lists, and layouts.
• Apply 2D & 3D CAD modeling techniques to complex designs and assignments.
• Provide design solutions.
• Compile technical documentation such as user manuals, spec sheets, and instructions.

Design Engineer Required Experience:

• 5+ years experience with 2D & 3D CAD, including AutoCAD, in steel manufacturing.
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs.
• HNC/HND.
• Degree qualification in an engineering/design-related field.
• Highly motivated team player.

Design Engineer Package:

• Competitive salary of £35,000 - £42,000.
• 23-day holiday allowance.

• Onsite parking.

Design Engineer Shifts:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
