THE ROLE
Responsibilities
As a Design Engineer, you'll be at the core of the business, working closely with customers and internal teams to develop precision-engineered products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.
- Developing product designs from customer specifications to finished solutions.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and certification bodies (Lloyds, DNV, ABS).
- Supporting manufacturing by ensuring designs are optimised for fabrication.
- Ensuring designs meet ISO9001 quality standards and regulatory requirements.
ABOUT YOU
We're Looking For a Technically Strong And Ambitious Design Engineer Who's Eager To Take The Next Step In Their Career. You Should Have
- Experience in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and technical drawing.
- A background in design for manufacture (fabrication, precision engineering, or related fields).
- Knowledge of steel materials and fabrication processes.
- An analytical and logical approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
