Design and Technology Teacher (Part-Time)
Your new company
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Design and Technology Teacher to join a team at a secondary school in the Teesside area. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning in Design and Technology to students in KS3 to KS5. This is a Part-Time job.
Your new role
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential in Design and Technology.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity, innovation and critical thinking.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support to help students achieve their learning goals.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and share best practice in teaching and learning, including the use of technology and other innovative approaches.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including participating in extracurricular activities and supporting school events and initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) in Design and Technology.
- Experience of teaching Design and Technology at KS3 to KS5 level.
- Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching and learning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents/carers.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to embrace new technologies and teaching methodologies.
