Job description

We are seeking a Design and Technology Teacher for a prominent Secondary School based in Bury.

Location: Bury– mixed gender Secondary School
Pay: £150 - £230 per day (depending on experience & qualifications)

Are you passionate about Design Technology and have the knowledge to inspire students in Key Stage 3 and 4? You will be planning and conducting engaging lessons to contribute to a child’s future. This is the perfect opportunity to gain experience within teaching and support young individuals.

About the role – DT Teacher

  • Experience in the classroom – desirable
  • Excellent daily pay rates – £150 - £230 per day
  • Supporting Students – in a classroom, small groups or 1:1 sessions

Who would be a great fit for the role?
  • Must have a (Qualified Teacher Status), QTS, Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or Degree in DT.
  • Passion for Design Technology and helping young people succeed.
  • Ability to work with students on a 1:1, group, and class basis.
  • A full enhanced DBS check (can be processed through Smile Education).
  • A determined, hard-working attitude!
