Are you a passionate Design & Technology (DT) and Hospitality & Catering Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in Birmingham? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and inspiring educator to join the thriving school community, where creativity, innovation, and hands-on learning are at the heart of our curriculum.

About the Role:

• Deliver engaging lessons across Design & Technology and Hospitality & Catering at Key Stages 3 & 4.
• Inspire students through practical, hands-on learning in food preparation, nutrition, and design projects.
• Develop and implement an exciting curriculum that encourages creativity and technical skills.
• Support students in achieving their full potential, both academically and practically.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed in workshops and kitchens.
• Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events related to DT and catering.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Specialism in Hospitality & Catering or Design & Technology (Food Technology preferred).
• Passion for practical, hands-on teaching and real-world learning experiences.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
