Description: Full Time Cleaning Operative (15708a)

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join the established Kingdom Cleaning Team as a Full Time Non GMP Cleaning Operative, working at a prestigious GMP pharmaceutical site in Cramlington, NE23 area.

You will join a professional, friendly team where the culture and behaviours reflect those which are necessary on a site manufacturing pharmaceutical product.

As a team, achieving our broad variety of service missions whilst maintaining respect for colleagues and all those that we come into contact daily is a key objective of the local Kingdom Cleaning management team based on site.
This is supported by Kingdom Cleanings’ core values and resources including access to a number of employee services via a phone app.

The site is served by local bus routes, offers free parking, an onsite subsidised restaurant, and free vend hot drinks.

A uniform and any required PPE is provided free of charge appropriate to your role.

Hours: 40 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Monday to Friday 07:00am - 15:30pm.

Pay rate: £12.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• This role involves cleaning a mixture of office, communal areas, toilets, and some limited laboratory environments.
• There is a requirement to understand and comply with written instructions and complete paperwork.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the cleaning of specified areas allocated to them, giving ownership over their tasks.
• Achieving high standards, you will ensure any task undertaken is carried out safely and in compliance with written operating procedures.
• The capability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Previous basic cleaning experience is preferred; additional on-site training will be provided.
• Physical capabilities to use cleaning equipment and operate a basic scrubber drier machine – full training given.
• Some basic IT skills to complete ongoing mandatory online training - support given.
• Completion of a comprehensive one-week site induction.
