It will also suit an assistant restaurant manager looking to step up.

The Deputy Restaurant Manager we are looking for will have a quality food led background, exceptional customer service skills, a real eye for detail and the ability to train great people and build sales. Alongside having an understanding of financial & commercial controls.

It is a busy operation so you will also need some volume experience and experience of supervising a team.

Role - Deputy Restaurant Manager

As the Deputy Restaurant Manager you will:

• Manage all day to day operations alongside the manager, head chef and senior team
• Help to control labour, stock and wastage
• Train and develop the team
• Work in a hands-on capacity leading from the front
• Maintain high standards, compliance and company systems & procedures
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Work to company targets and KPIs
• Drive sales through upselling promotions and excellent customer service

Attributes - Deputy Restaurant Manager

• Experience as a deputy/assistant restaurant/cafe/food led pub/coffee shop manager in busy commercial customer facing operations
• An understanding of labour and cost controls
• Excellent people, organisation, customer service and supervisory skills
• A hands-on lead from the front approach and a very keen eye for detail
• The ability to motivate and enthuse people and teams to deliver results
• A positive and outgoing personality and outlook
• IT literate - working with systems & process
