Days - Fully Supernumerary - 40 hour contract

This is a highly successful service that has been in operation since 1996; with long standing, dedicated and loyal staff to support you as a Deputy Manager here.

The group is a nationwide established specialist mental health and learning disability provider; the service is a 19 bedded specialist mental health service for working age adults with enduring mental health needs.

With unrivalled staffing ratios, as a Deputy Manager here, you will be overseeing 2 nurses during the day, skilled support workers, and be mentored by an exceptional service manager; a named nurse here will care for 9/10 service users and work on pretty impressive staffing ratios!

With a dedicated training centre and regional training team, you will fulfil your CPD potential here as a Deputy Manager whilst working with content service users in a relaxed, modern, and advanced service with the best technology on offer. Your role will include:

1. Overseeing the efficiency of the unit
2. Leading and supporting the team adhering to the group's values
3. Evaluating nursing interventions and risk assessments
4. Monitoring care and quality alongside CQC standards
5. Running MDT meetings
6. Identifying training needs plus completing supervisions and appraisals
7. Recruitment and retention of the team
8. Assisting with a shared on-call rota
9. Resident and family liaison
