Deputy Manager

We’re on the hunt for an Experienced Deputy Manager forThe Regent in Balham - SW12 8JB.

Our ideal Deputy Manager is passionate about service & is keen to work with an independent London Neighbourhood Pub Operator.

Who are You?

• An experienced Deputy Manager who's excited to be an integral part of our successful pub.
• Someone who shares the same passion and fun for hospitality that we do.
• You love creating top-notch guest experiences and thrive from putting a smile on both the teams' and our guests' faces.
• You love developing people, coaching them, and seeing their progression.
• You have strong financial knowledge and enjoy proactively supporting the General Manager to drive and exceed KPIs and budgets.
• Previous experience working with sport as part of the operation would be highly advantageous.

You’ll also bring with you your previous relevant Deputy Manager experience in a £20k+ pub or restaurant and if you have food-led and/or outdoor/garden experience in your toolkit too, you'll have us at hello!

This is a role where you will support the General Manager to drive and grow the business and create memorable guest experiences with the team.

• A competitive salary between £33k - £36.5K based on your experience + tronc + Bonus
• FANTASTIC additional tronc/service payments – in the region of a further £8K making OTE of £41k - £44.5k

The Regent Balham is part of Livelyhood pub group, an established, London-based owner, creator, and operator of inviting and independent neighbourhood pubs.

Due to a sustainable partnership with the local school next door, it also enjoys a large outdoor garden. The Regent just keeps growing and is an established Balham community favorite.

The Regent is less than 2 minutes walk from Balham tube/overground station, so offers a great commute too.

About Livelyhood

We currently have 7 independent, inviting modern locals in London.

You’ll find us in Crystal Palace (The Faber Fox), Balham (The Regent), Wimbledon (The Old Frizzle), Wanstead (The Bull), Clapham South (The Perky Nel), Bromley South (The Artful Duke) & Elephant and Castle (The Rosy Hue).
