Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for one Band 5 Deputy Logistic Manager within the NCA Procurement Department.

We are looking for self-motivated individuals with a good understanding of NHS procurement practices.

You will have experience of working in a busy Receipt and Distribution Department with previous knowledge of Materials Management Systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Management of all relevant Receipt/Distribution/Logistics and Materials Management activities across the site.
  2. Providing an efficient, safe and secure supply service whilst ensuring agreed service levels are maintained.
  3. Deputising for the Head of Supply Chain and Inventory as required.
  4. Managing the Logistics Team at SRFT in all functions of Receipt/Distribution/Logistics and Materials Management.
  5. Maintaining effective communication with the NHSSC Regional Distribution Centre, providing end users with advice on product information and processes.
  6. Working collaboratively with others and autonomously at times.
  7. Contributing to the sharing of best practices within the Procurement department.
