St Columba's Catholic Primary is a joyful and nurturing school for children aged 3-11. As part of the Blessed Christopher Wharton Catholic Academy Trust - comprising 17 primaries and two secondaries - we work collaboratively to deliver high-quality, faith-based education. The Role

We're looking for a Deputy Headteacher who can promote excellence, support staff development, and help guide the strategic vision of our school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspire teaching and learning through effective leadership and high expectations
  • Support and challenge staff to achieve their best
  • Use data to drive school improvement
  • Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing across school life
  • Ensure safeguarding and health & safety are central to all decisions
  • Develop relationships with families, parishes, and the wider community
  • Work closely with the Headteacher, Academy Council, and Trust Board
