St Peter’s Catholic Primary School, working in partnership with the Archdiocese of Birmingham, welcomes applications for the position of Deputy Headteacher.

Governors invite applications from experienced, highly motivated, enthusiastic, and suitably qualified practising Catholic leaders to play a key role in building on the success of our friendly school.

We are looking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher who will build on our proven success and who will value and promote our Catholic ethos embodied in the school.

We are looking for a special person who is:

• A committed practising Catholic who is willing to maintain and develop the faith life of the school.
• An excellent classroom practitioner who can consistently deliver and model best practice. A teaching commitment is expected.
• Committed to working with children, parents, and staff to raise standards.
• Able to challenge and motivate others to achieve outstanding practice.
• Able to analyse data, develop strategic plans, set targets, and monitor/evaluate progress towards these.
• Able to successfully lead aspects of whole school improvement and have excellent leadership skills.
