Detailed job description and main responsibilities

We are looking for a leader with:

  • A master's qualification or equivalent experience
  • Significant experience of operational management including recent acute sector services experience
  • A proven track record of successfully delivering against set objectives and achieving key targets, demonstrating continuous and quality improvement
  • An ability to effectively negotiate and influence at all levels
  • An ability to manage and deliver complex redesign and change management programmes/initiatives

  • Knowledge of NHS operational performance as well as the current and future direction of the NHS at a national level and how this applies to services within the acute sector
