Job Description
In this role you will:
- Understand Dstl’s business and delivery requirements, identify and document potential risks to security. Ensure procedures are followed and conditions are in place to mitigate risk to security across the business.
- Deliver effective services relating to Physical Security in a MOD/Defence environment.
- Advise on Site Security and assure baseline protective security measures are met.
- Provide a proportional response and advice relating to investigations and incident management.
- Provide protective security advice and guidance to internal stakeholders including internal and external event security measures.

Person Specification
You will bring:
- The ability to deliver a Safe, Secure & resilient work within an S&T environment.
- Adaptability as a team player being able to identify risk management solutions within a Governance Framework.
- Experience in Physical Security Baseline control measures and bring this to benefit Dstl.
- Experience in leadership of business Improvements and leading on change within a MoD or Defence environment.
- The ability to be accountable as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the delivery efficiency, providing reports and driving productivity forward.

Selection Process Details
This vacancy is using Success Profiles and will assess your Behaviours and Experience.
Sifting will take place week commencing the 24th March 2025 with interviews held on 3rd & 4th April 2025 at Dstl Portsdown West, comprising a behavioural & technical interview.
Feedback will only be provided if you attend an interview or assessment.
Security
Successful candidates must undergo a criminal record check and must meet the security requirements before they can be appointed. The level of security needed is developed vetting.
