Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and Family Support - Chiltern Wood School

Location: High Wycombe

Salary Type: Bucks pay

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: 37 Hours per week - Monday to Friday (Flexibility for the right candidate)
Multi Site - across all 3 sites to include essential visits

About us

Chiltern Wood School is a Special School currently supporting over 200 students ranging from ages 3 to 19 years. We are currently based on three sites in the High Wycombe area.

The successful candidate will work with the safeguarding team to ensure that full support is in place to promote the welfare and protection of our pupils and vulnerable families. In addition, the Deputy DSL will provide administrative support to the safeguarding team, manage a case load, support and attend meetings, and ensure that all processes followed comply with school policies. The successful candidate will be computer literate with a good understanding of web-based packages/systems.

About you

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of SEN, having worked within a safeguarding and/or medical remit.
