Job Title: Deputy Children's Manager - EBD Home
Location: N20, London
Salary: £32,000 - £42,000
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Flexible hours)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Children's Manager for our newly opened EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) home in N20, London. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Deputy Manager or an ambitious Team Leader looking to take the next step in their career.

About the Role:
  • Work closely with the Registered Manager in overseeing the day-to-day management of the home.
  • Provide support and guidance to staff, ensuring the highest standards of care for the children and young people.
  • Assist with the management of emergency placements and work collaboratively with social workers and local authority representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including monthly audits and reporting.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Experience: We welcome applications from established Deputy Managers as well as experienced Team Leaders looking to progress.
  • Qualifications: A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is essential; Level 5 qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Commitment: A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children and young people, with a focus on delivering high-quality care.
