We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join a small, nurturing children's home in Colchester, Essex. This home provides high-quality care and support to 2 children in a 2-bedded home. The role offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to support the management of the home, ensuring both the children and staff team thrive.
Contract Details:
Salary: £40,280 per annum
Welcome Bonus: £2,000
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
Support the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the needs of the children are met
Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence
Assist with staff recruitment and team management
Contribute to the development and review of care plans
Ensure the home is compliant with OFSTED and company standards
Provide bespoke, tailored support for the children to ensure their well-being and development
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3/4 in Children and Young People (or equivalent)
Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Team Leader in children's services
Full UK driving licence
