Up to £34,401 + £150 per month on-call

Are you an experienced Senior Residential Support Worker/Team Leader looking for the next step in your career or a Deputy Manager looking for a new challenge? I am looking for a Deputy Manager for a 3 bedded home for children and young people in the fabulous town of Bicester. The home offers a nurturing environment for young people with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, specifically mental health, to help them thrive.

In this role, Deputy Managers will:

1. Assist in managing all aspects of the day-to-day running of a children’s residential home.
2. Deputise for the Registered Manager in their absence.
3. Promote the safeguarding of the young people’s welfare.
4. Promote education and diversity to ensure individual needs are met.
5. Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and company requirements.
6. Participate in the on-call roster.

For this rewarding role, you must have:

1. A minimum of 2 years' experience working with Children and Young People in a Residential setting.
2. Recent experience working either as a Children's Home Deputy Manager or as a Senior Children's Residential Support Worker/Team Leader in a Children's Home.
3. Minimum QCF Level 3 Residential Childcare or equivalent (in line with Ofsted requirements).
4. Enthusiasm and commitment to completing QCF Level 5 Children, Young People and Families Manager qualification.
5. The flexibility to cover shifts in line with the needs of the home; they do aim for the Deputy to work Monday to Friday 9-5, but flexibility is required.
6. A full UK Driving Licence (Essential).
