Deputy Chief Medical Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and visionary Deputy Chief Medical Officer to join our leadership team at Salisbury District Hospital. This role presents an exceptional opportunity for current and aspiring leaders to engage in the pivotal functions of the Chief Medical Officer. As an executive member of the Trust Board, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare within our integrated care system and the broader regional healthcare landscape.

Successful candidate to be offered either 10 PAs full time as Deputy Chief Medical Officer (DCMO) or 5 PAs as DCMO plus 5 PAs in a clinical specialty.

1. Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and Trust Board to drive strategic initiatives and enhance healthcare delivery.
2. Serve as a key influencer in the development and implementation of our shared Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system and engage with governance changes within the BSW Acute Hospital Alliance to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
3. Champion continuous quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the ongoing transformation of patient care through the Improving Together program.
