What You'll Be Doing:

1. Leading the Care Team: Set high standards of care and work alongside the care staff to implement them. You'll be the go-to person for your team, helping them grow, develop, and feel supported in their roles.
2. Managing the Home in the GM's Absence: Ensure smooth operations when the General Manager is unavailable - your leadership will ensure continuity and stability.
3. Audit & Quality Control: Work with the General Manager to set and review home standards, including ensuring monthly audits are conducted. You'll play a key role in maintaining the high standards that they're known for.
4. Medications & Procedures: Ensure medications are administered properly and that all procedures are followed to keep both staff and residents safe.
5. Rotas & Staffing: Prepare and manage clinical staff rotas to ensure that the residents' needs are always met. You'll play an essential part in staffing and scheduling to keep everything running like clockwork.
6. Motivating the Team: With your positive leadership, you'll delegate responsibilities, promote teamwork, and encourage staff to always strive for excellence in everything they do.

What We're Looking For:

1. Leadership Experience: You'll need previous management experience, ideally in the care sector, so you can hit the ground running and lead with confidence.
2. Compassionate & Caring Nature: We want someone who truly cares about the residents and leads with kindness, empathy, and understanding.
3. Organised & Detail-Oriented: You'll need to be able to manage multiple tasks, keep accurate records, and ensure all procedures are followed to a high standard.
