Job description

The Bay Network is looking for a driven, inspirational and motivational Deputy Admin Lead who will support the development of the admin and clerical services providing line management and developing a highly efficient administrative workforce. The post holder will be innovative and forward-thinking.


The post holder’s role will focus on the Urgent Care Pathway and Inpatients admin teams within the Mental Health Network promoting cross team working and support. The Bay Network covers Lancaster, Morecambe, South Lakes and Furness, and the current vacancy will be based in Danegarth, Furness General Hospital, Barrow with travel to other admin service offices within the Network.


We are inviting applications from individuals with strong leadership abilities and experience, excellent organisation skills, and the ability to work on your own or as a member of the wider management team. The successful candidate will be able to communicate with staff, service users, visitors, and carers in a professional manner.


This role is for a driven, inspirational and motivational Deputy Admin Lead that will support the management with a high-quality, highly efficient administrative workforce within networks with an innovative and forward-thinking outlook.


The post holder will be creative with an inclusive approach towards problem solving and service development. They will act with integrity and the strictest confidentiality at all times.


The post holder will lead on managing, coordinating, and ensuring cross cover of Network reception services.


Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health, and forensic services including low and medium secure care.


The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
