Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st shift

What you will do -

As a Depot Service Technician, you will begin to explore the mechanical field of robotic repair by providing service for repairable and refurbished parts to support the needs of the field. Additionally, you will:

  1. Conduct tests of Stryker MAKO Robot systems and components, including electro-mechanical components, assemblies, equipment, and machinery such as precision encoders, motors, brakes, instruments, control robots, machines, and more.
  2. Perform testing and troubleshooting to overall robotic systems and components.
  3. Assist in the identification of improvements in our technical service bulletins, technical service procedures, quality inspection procedures, and testing.
  4. Assist manufacturing and service engineers in performing repairs and improvements.
  5. Perform a variety of complicated technical and non-technical tasks.
  6. Uphold the quality policies of the company guidelines per work instructions required by FDA regulatory affairs.
  7. Engage in learning through a manufacturing training skill set which will include performance progress check-ins.

What you need-

Required

  1. High School Diploma or GED/equivalent.
  2. At least 2 years of professional experience.
  3. Ability to lift or maneuver up to 65 pounds.
  4. Experience operating hand tools and power tools.
  5. Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel).

Preferred

  1. Associates or Bachelors degree, a plus.
  2. At least 2 years of experience with conducting mechanical troubleshooting and reading/following work instructions.
  3. Experience with: soldering, pinning & crimping, ESD handling/knowledge & electrical circuit testing, transmission cabling, system testing & system troubleshooting.
  4. Experience utilizing software systems such as inventory tracking software, Trackwise, Windchill OnePLM, and/or SAP.

Starting rate of $21.58 + per hour, plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
