Job description

Main purpose of the job is to work as part of a busy and hardworking Production team and ensuring site safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Moving and repositioning aggregates within bays and around the depot.
• Assisting other Depot Operatives.
• Keeping the site safe and tidy.

Essential Skills and Person Specification:

• Flexible, with a ‘can do’ attitude.
• Experience of driving and ticket for Telehandler, Forklift, Wheeled Loading Shovel, and Front Loading Shovel are desired but not essential.

Working hours/times: 49.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 0700 – 1700, including 1 hour unpaid break and 0700-1200 on Saturdays including 30 minutes unpaid break.

Package is: annual salary plus the 9% employer pension contribution with Scottish Widows. You may be entitled to the discretionary Annual and Christmas bonuses. Annual leave of 29 days, including 8 Bank Holidays plus 12 Saturday Holidays per year.
