Job description

Main purpose of the job is to work as part of a busy and hardworking Production team and ensuring site safety.

Depot Operative Southampton Depot

Key Responsibilities:

  • Running the bagging plant.
  • Moving and repositioning aggregates within bays and around the depot.
  • Assisting other Depot Operatives.
  • Keeping the site safe and tidy.

Essential Skills and Person Specification:

  • Flexible, with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Experience of driving Telescopic Handlers or Forklift Trucks would be beneficial, but not essential.

Working hours/times: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday 0700 – 1700, including 1 hour unpaid break.

Package is: annual salary plus the 9% employer pension contribution with Scottish Widows. You may be entitled to the discretionary Annual and Christmas bonuses. Annual leave of 29 days per year, including 8 Bank Holidays.
