Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and Experienced Dental Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate must be amenable to working in our methodology and be flexible to fit in with our team. They will be responsible for providing exceptional clinical, administrative, and receptionist support in a fast-paced but supportive private dental practice environment. As the first point of contact for patients, the Dental Nurse plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive patient experience. The candidate will also oversee the training of our other trainee nurses and provide mentorship where needed.
Working Week Hours Required:
Monday / Friday: 09:15-18:45
Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 08:45-18:15
Saturday: 08:45-17:15
(up to 1 hour lunch break allowed)
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with a welcoming demeanor.
- Perform all normal clinical duties of a modern dental nurse with a dual treatment-coordinator role.
- Organize nurse staff and be involved in the practice's ongoing compliance.
- Track dental leads and inquiries on GoHighLevel CRM, our website, chatbot, and social media.
- Work efficiently as part of a team alongside other dental colleagues.
- Schedule appointments and manage the diary effectively.
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries with professionalism, etiquette, and enthusiasm.
- Process patient payments accurately and keep patient records up to date.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Assist with administrative tasks to support the dental team, such as completing consents and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Dental Nurse qualification and proven experience in nursing and administrative roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using IT/dental software for scheduling and record-keeping.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Accountability, honesty, and punctuality are essential characteristics required for this role.
