Dental Hygienist

Job Overview
We are Camberdent, a well-established Clinic in Camberwell, South London.

We have a great team comprising a Dentist, Hygienist, and Podiatrist. We recently advertised for a hygienist who is now working with us. However, they are so busy, we need another team member to come and join us as soon as possible.

The position is available for a morning or afternoon 4-hour session on a Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

You will be employed by us with a basic pay of £38.50 per hour. You will be entitled to holiday pay, sick pay, maternity, or paternity pay. We provide you with free online courses to fulfill your CPD requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
• Assess patients' oral health and provide appropriate recommendations for treatment.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
• Take medical histories and record vital signs as necessary.
• Utilise medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Stay updated with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements

• GDC registered
• The right to work in the UK
