Aventis is a leading Dental Clinic in the Caribbean. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dental Hygienistto join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Hygienist with experience assessing patients, developing personalized treatment plans, and comfortable taking on an already established list of patients. Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
  • Take and process dental X-rays as needed.
  • Perform periodontal assessments and chart findings.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care.
  • Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride varnishes.
  • Identify and report any dental issues to the dentist, including gum disease or cavities.
  • Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to OSHA guidelines.
  • Prepare patients for dental examinations and assist the dentist during procedures as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Hygiene
  • Experience treating 15+ patients a week
  • Commitment to continued education and professional development in the field of Dental Hygiene
  • Have orthodontic Therapy Experience especially in Invisalign
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanour
  • Ability to relocate to the Cayman Islands, in the Caribbean

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Medical Insurance and Open Dental Software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay:$80,000-$100,000 tax free Salary
