Duties
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing.
- Take and develop dental x-rays.
- Conduct oral cancer screenings.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalised oral care instructions.
- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile working environment.
Requirements
- Valid GDC Registration.
- Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Proficient in dental software and technology, including SOE and medical imaging systems.
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Available to work Fridays and Saturdays.
