Job description

We are a new modern privately owned dental practice that concentrates on personalized high quality care. We are looking for a reliable and committed PT/FT Dental Assistant to support our team! Mon/Wed or Tue/Thu to start. Later on will add Friday. The Assistant will be motivated, caring, and have good organizational skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Greeting and scheduling patients.
  2. Taking x-rays.
  3. Chairside assisting.
  4. Preparing, sterilizing, organizing and setting up dental equipment, ensuring that all dental instruments are cleaned and processed according to established standards.
  5. Monitoring and maintaining dental equipment such as compressors, evacuation systems, radiographic equipment, sterilizer, safety equipment, etc., according to manufacturers' guidelines.
  6. Adhering to all relevant federal and state regulations, guidelines, policies and standards for the provision of dental clinical services.
  7. Maintaining inventory of dental instruments and supplies.
  8. Demonstrating working knowledge of dental records and documentation, dental instruments and terminology.
  9. Updating patient charts.
Qualifications
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Dental Assistant certification (CDA) preferred.
  3. Proven experience as a Dental Assistant is a plus.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  6. Current X-Ray certification a MUST.
  7. Min 1 year experience preferred.
