Job description

International Demand Planner | Global Medical Manufacturer & Supply

  • £60K to £70K
  • Hybrid or Fully Remote | Open to candidates based anywhere in the UK
  • Excellent benefits

Butler Rose is excited to be collaborating with yet another great employer boasting a wonderful value proposition. Through the manufacture and international supply of orthopaedic medical devices, they directly improve the lives of their end users across the world. Due to consistent growth in global demand and business diversification, the role of International Demand Planner is here!

Reporting to the U.S., you’ll manage end-to-end monthly demand planning across APAC, LATAM, and the States. This is in part why the role can be offered on a fully remote basis as you’ll need an agile working pattern to meet international timelines and differences.

Spearheading global collaboration across multiple functions and external partners, you’ll use KPI metrics, statistical models, and market analysis, evaluating forecasts and assessing how proposed demand events may impact sales volume. Core responsibilities will include:

  • Build a multi-tiered Demand Planning process with minimal product families, working cross-functionally within Business Unit (BU) and Sales Geography structures.
  • Develop and maintain a rolling 24-month demand forecast using statistical analysis and cross-functional inputs.
  • Achieve consensus demand plans between sales, marketing, finance, and supply through monthly reviews.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline input processes, ensuring efficiency with minimal training required.
  • Coach and mentor BU Leaders, Sales, Marketing (Product Management), and Distributors in Demand Planning and Demand Control/Execution to drive accountability, accuracy, and stability.

To truly realize success in this role, your character assets, qualifications, and systems knowledge should include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply & Logistics, or related field, or 8 years of combined Demand and Supply Planning experience.
  • Experience in regulated industry manufacturing, preferably medical devices, to proactively address potential issues.
  • Experience working with international distributors.
  • Proficiency with ERP data. Knowledge of (SAP(IBP), Kinaxis, Logility, O9, or similar demand planning software) is beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently, manage complex projects, and collaborate on business intelligence (Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, SAP Analytics Cloud preferred) and data solutions.

In addition to their exceptional value proposition as a business and the meaning they bring to lives, you gain access to a host of benefits including generous annual leave, private healthcare, pension, and consistent company bonus.

To be considered for the role, you must be eligible to work in the UK without restriction. This role is being advertised by Butler Rose (AGY) and managed by Dave Marchant d.marchant@butlerrose.com.
