JOB: Demand Planning Manager
LOCATION: Norfolk (hybrid working is available)
TERM: Permanent
SALARY: £40,000-£55,000 per annum, dependent on experience
My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for a Demand Planning Manager to join their team in Norfolk on a permanent basis.
Attributes:
- Experience working in a similar senior-level Demand Planning role for Supply Chain
- Excellent knowledge of MRP and ERP systems
- In-depth knowledge of engineering and quality processes within a manufacturing setting
- Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering or similar
- Expertise in demand forecasting and inventory management
- Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency
- Experience with data, production and IFS systems
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with Power BI would also be ideal
- Able to work in a busy, high pressure environment
- Confident and highly organised
- Excellent attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute demand planning strategies to meet customer demand and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Production Planning and KPI Development
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to understand product lifecycles and quality requirements
- Conduct regular analysis of demand patterns and market trends to adjust forecasting models
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives in demand planning processes
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely production and delivery of products
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on demand forecasts and inventory performance
