JOB: Demand Planning Manager

LOCATION: Norfolk (hybrid working is available)

TERM: Permanent

SALARY: £40,000-£55,000 per annum, dependent on experience

My client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for a Demand Planning Manager to join their team in Norfolk on a permanent basis.

Attributes:

1. Experience working in a similar senior-level Demand Planning role for Supply Chain
2. Excellent knowledge of MRP and ERP systems
3. In-depth knowledge of engineering and quality processes within a manufacturing setting
4. Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering or similar
5. Expertise in demand forecasting and inventory management
6. Demonstrated success in implementing process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency
7. Experience with data, production and IFS systems
8. Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
9. Experience with Power BI would also be ideal
10. Able to work in a busy, high pressure environment
11. Confident and highly organised
12. Excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute demand planning strategies to meet customer demand and maintain optimal inventory levels
2. Production Planning and KPI Development
3. Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to understand product lifecycles and quality requirements
4. Conduct regular analysis of demand patterns and market trends to adjust forecasting models
5. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives in demand planning processes
6. Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely production and delivery of products
7. Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on demand forecasts and inventory performance
