Demand Planner 28k- 32k Hybrid High Growth

Zachary Daniels Recruitment are delighted to be partnered with this brilliant business in the key recruitment of a Demand Planner.

This Demand Planner role is a key role and one which will get real opportunity to develop and grow due to our client's very strong trading performance. Top Line Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to optimise demand and sales for our premium homewares and furniture products.
  2. Oversee the Open-to-Buy (OTB) and seasonal buys, ensuring effective inventory management.
  3. Conduct regular reviews of Weekly Sales, Stock, and Intake (WSSI) to optimise stock levels and sales performance.
  4. Manage the production plan, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and timely delivery of products.
  5. Implement effective stock phasing strategies to maximise availability and minimise stockholding costs.
  6. Manage the Range Review process from start to finish; ensuring key dates within the CPA are met.
  7. Ensure warehousing and store forecasts are loaded into the ERP in a timely manner for new lines.
  8. Monthly review of MOQ Weeks report to identify lines with issues and work with Buying and DI to achieve MOQ reductions, action to drive sales or manage stock out of the business.
  9. Understand your category's online performance and look to support improvements in online availability and sales where possible, liaising with the online/eComm analyst as required.

Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in a similar role or merchandising is essential, as it provides a solid foundation.
  2. Proven track record in driving demand, optimising sales, and managing gross margin.
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to forecast demand accurately and identify trends.
  4. Strong understanding of inventory management principles and techniques.
  5. Experience in managing both physical store and online channels is highly desirable.
