Demand Planner

18 month maternity cover role

Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 plus excellent benefits

Location: Dartford - Hybrid Working

Our client is a well-established, market-leading technology company dedicated to delivering high-quality and innovative products. Due to their ever-expanding growth, they are now seeking a Demand Planner to join their team for an 18-month maternity cover contract. The business is well-respected and successful - its success is based on great products, hard work, flexibility, innovation, and delivering results.

Purpose of the Role: The purpose of the Demand Planner role is to provide accurate supply chain planning to ensure all required stock is purchased in a timely manner to meet customer needs.

Experience Needed:

1. Previous experience in a supply chain planning role (essential)
2. Advanced levels of experience with using Excel (essential)
3. Knowledge of ERP systems and processes
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction
5. Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
6. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities effectively
7. Attention to detail in planning, execution, and follow-through

Demand Planner Duties Include:

1. Creation of the purchase plan to meet the needs of the business sales forecast
2. Creation of the monthly forecast information provided to Subsidiary Teams
3. Receipt of all agreed monthly forecasts and data upload of forecasts on Group Business Central
4. Monitor and ensure forecasted Sales Orders and Purchase Orders correlate on the Business Central system across all companies in terms of quantities and dates
5. Communicate with relevant salespeople to obtain accurate forecast data for OEM customers for the monthly planning process

You will have excellent communication and organizational skills as well as the ability to multitask.
