Do you have experience of delivering a range of transformation, change and improvement projects?
Our Purpose
Working collaboratively across North East Lincolnshire Council, partners, wider stakeholders, and communities, we are committed to further developing a dedicated and sustainable infrastructure with the skills, knowledge, and expertise to address the most complex challenges to deliver lasting impact.
Agile delivery management is a growing practical discipline for us at North East Lincolnshire Council and we are excited about the opportunities that this approach provides. This approach enables us to utilise an agile, design led way of working to deliver positive outcomes across the borough.
About the Role
Working alongside Economy (Housing, Highways & Transport) colleagues, you will be involved in the hands-on development, delivery and review of products, projects, and re-design end to end services. You will remove blockers and create the right environment for multi-disciplinary teams to succeed, helping to create a culture of learning and transparency.
In the context of listening, learning, reviewing, and adapting, the role will take an agile approach to building a culture of continuous improvement.
You'll be responsible for ensuring that staff across the workforce and wider partners / stakeholders are clear on their roles and responsibilities, helping them prioritise the right work at the right time, working to ensure they are all involved and excited about the work, and that products and projects are delivered on time and on budget.
About You
You will have the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently with a range of experience in designing and delivering transformation within large and complex environments using agile methodologies.
You will have excellent communication skills that enable you to quickly build relationships and trust with all stakeholders and an ability to help individuals, teams and services plan and prioritise their work, helping them understand what trade-offs must be made to deliver a project effectively.
You will understand user-centred design and how it applies to the delivery of public services, and you will need your skills as a persuasive and engaging communicator to help contribute to making sense of and finding solutions in the context of a complex operating environment.
